In Skellefteå, storytelling is a recurring theme in all creative expressions: on the theatre stage, in art exhibitions and museums, on the dance floor and on the music stage, in the library and in writers' dens. Motivated by this, Skellefteå has proudly proclaimed itself the Town of Storytelling. We wish to build upon the region's rich tradition of oral and literal storytelling.
